As a team, we plan to continue our small effort to help out Nepali refugee families and individuals who are impacted by this virus.
We are asking for donations of soap, hand sanitizers, gloves, masks, groceries, etc., or monetary donations to purchase the aforementioned supplies. We will greatly appreciate your support to continue our mission of serving those in need.

(AFH) Foundation provides teaching, career counseling, and mentoring services to refugees/immigrants high school and college students in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. AFH Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States, and your donations are 100% tax deductible.

Act for Humanity (AFH) Foundation started an initiative called “Focus Talk”, mobilizing Nepali-refugee youths in Lancaster, PA. It is an effort to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to the Bhutanese-Nepali community in Lancaster (one of the city's largest former refugee populations) via Focus Talk-COVID-19, a nightly Nepali Facebook broadcast that provides up-to-the minute information on the virus. This small team was able to inform Nepali-adults (who can’t read or understand English) and was able to energize 35-40 other Nepali youths on a regular basis with information related to COVID-19, online resources, video updates and Zoom conversations. We were also covered by Lancaster Newspaper Online (LNP).
